The second meeting of the Caucasus-Caspian Commission took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia 31st May and 1st June. The meetings took place at the Domina Hotel and Castle Jable.

The Commission outlined an action plan and defined the main spheres of its activity.These include the publishing of an end-of-the year report – the report will look at ways to promote regional integration, economic development and resolve conflict – fact finding missions to the region, expert consultations on environment security and energy sustainability, media activities and high-level political dialogue with Russia, EU, and US counterparts.
