At the initiative of LINKS, a delegation from the All Party Group on the South Caucasus of the UK Parliament today arrived in Armenia at the start of an eight day visit to the region. The delegation is made up of the Chairman of the All Party Group, Angus Robertson MP, and Lord Gordon of Strathblane, a member of the group.The delegation will also visit Georgia and Azerbaijan.
The delegation today met the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Mr Tigran Torosoyan MP, who is also the current chairman of the South Caucasus Parliamentary Initiative. Also present was LINKS Programme Co-ordinator Catherine Smith and LINKS South Caucasus Co-ordinator, Lasha Darsalia.
