The Acting head of the LINKS Delegation to Azerbaijan George Simonishvili this afternoon hosted 35 members of the Dalga Youth Movement in Azerbaijan at the LINKS offices in Baku for a seminar and reception. The young activists present had a long and extensive discussion with colleagues from LINKS on the Karabakh conflict and public perceptions on the conflict resolution process.
A spokesperson for LINKS in Baku said that LINKS has worked in Azerbaijan for most of its ten year existence and in this period has always given particular attention to work with young people. The spokesperson said that the meeting with the Dalga Movement was particularly frank and open and reflected both concerns and hopes of the young Azerbaijani society that still feels deeply effected by the Karabakh conflict and is keen for its speedy and just resolution.
