LINKS held the third and last in the current series of Round Table Discussions aimed at stimulating debate on new approaches to the conflict resolution processes in the South Caucasus in Tbilisi on 30 April 2008. The meeting was co-organised with the Strategic Research Centre and was chaired by the former Foreign Minister of Georgia, Irakli Menagharishvili.
Amongst the speakers were the Georgian Deputy State Minister for European and EuroAtlantic Integration, Tamar Beruchashvili, the Deputy Minister for Integration David Menjuridze, the Chairman of the Republic Party, David Usupashvili and LINKS Executive Director, Dennis Sammut
Also present were officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Parliament and various other state institutions. Also present was the Chairman of the Republican Party, Representatives of the United Opposition, representatives of around twenty NGOs and think tanks and journalists.
