The historic setting of Inner Temple Hall in central London was the venue for a reception to mark the 10th anniversary of LINKS. Distinguished guests included the UK Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Sir Brian Fall, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby, government officials, diplomats from around twenty countries and around forty guests from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia as well as representatives from civil society organisations and other friends of LINKS

Rt. Hon. George Reid
Addressing the gathering, the guest of honour, the Rt Hon George Reid, former presiding officer of the Scottish Parliament praised the work of LINKS over the last decade and spoke about the role that non governmental organisations are playing in a wide variety of spheres, including international relations. He called for wider recognition of these efforts and more co-ordination between state and non state players particularly on efforts to resolve conflicts and promote human rights world wide.
